Professional waxing temporarily sensitizes the skin. To maintain your smooth results and avoid irritation, we recommend avoiding direct sun exposure, strenuous workouts, and hot saunas for 24-48 hours post-treatment. Wash with cool water and prioritize hydration using a non-comedogenic moisturizer to support the skin's natural barrier. Regular, gentle exfoliation starting three days after your ritual will prevent ingrown hairs and keep your skin feeling silky and refined.

01. Pre-Treatment Protocol
Arrive with a fresh, clean face. We kindly request that you pause the use of Retinol, AHAs, or heavy exfoliants for at least 48 hours prior to your ritual to ensure skin integrity.
02. Immediate Post-Care
Your skin will be highly receptive and sensitive. Avoid direct sunlight, intense heat, saunas, and strenuous workouts for 24 hours. Hydrate your body as much as your skin.
03. Sustaining the Glow
Focus on gentle, barrier-supporting ingredients. Always finish your morning routine with a broad-spectrum SPF to protect your treatment results and prevent premature aging.

How often should I schedule a professional facial?
For optimal skin health, we recommend a facial every 4-6 weeks. This timeline aligns with your skin's natural regeneration cycle, ensuring a consistent and lasting glow while addressing specific concerns as they arise.
Will my skin experience peeling or breakouts after treatment?
While rare, some individuals may experience mild peeling, more like sloughing. Our treatments include post-extraction soothing rituals and high-frequency therapy to minimize irritation and accelerate healing.
Is it safe to apply makeup immediately after my session?
We highly recommend letting your skin breathe for at least 24 hours following a facial. This allow the active botanical serums and clinical-grade extracts to fully penetrate and achieve their maximum transformative effect.
Can I book a facial if I have extremely sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Every facial at GiGi Zen Spa is bespoke. We specialize in oncology-safe aesthetics and restorative techniques designed specifically for reactive or compromised complexions using only hypoallergenic botanical lines.
